In this difficult time, it’s more important than ever to look beyond our own immediate needs to those that are the least fortunate and most challenged among us. For those who were already suffering from food insecurity, it’s even more difficult. And now, more of our fellow New Jersey residents are unable to find or purchase crucial everyday items for themselves or their families.
Blue Onyx Companies has pledged to support local charities during this time. But we can’t do it alone. We’d like to encourage you to help us help others by contributing whatever you can.
Blue Onyx Companies is partnering with OASIS, a haven for Women and Children in New Jersey, in their efforts to meet the immediate needs of the community in Paterson. We’re helping them collect shelf-stable and non-perishable foods and other essentials that are difficult for everyone to get right now, but especially those in the greatest need.
Items needed include, but are not limited to:
Soup, Pasta, Tomato Sauce, Cans of Vegetables, Cans of Tuna, Cans of beans (not green beans), Cans of chili/meat, Macaroni & Cheese (or rice), Cereal, Oatmeal, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Cans of Fruit, Diapers (sizes 3-6), and Baby Wipes
The team at Blue Onyx will arrange curb-side pick-up of donations so that individuals don’t need to leave their homes or put themselves at further risk.
